Gloucester Daily Times Debate on Abortion (22), January 3, 1986

Decisions Were Right and Necessary

I am really getting sick of all these religious Christian nitwits whining and bleating about abortion, sticking their do-gooder noses into situations where they don’t belong and generally being a nuisance. I know many women who have had abortions, and it has always been a trying and painful experience. Let’s accept it and show compassion and understanding that their decisions were right and necessary.

John Rankin and his New England Christian Action Council are blinded by their beliefs and represent much of what is undesirable in this world. I think it is great that most people have enough common sense and humanness not to be swayed by these extremist crackpots.
