Mr. Rankin is Very Far from Liberal

Mr. Rankin associates himself with a “liberal arts” mode of search for knowledge, lists two unacknowledged references as statements of absolute scientific fact, and concludes with a simple ” …as I have therefore been telling you, I am right …”

I am unable to see how any of his article is liberal as a mode of inquiry, scientific fact, or by definition, right. What I do see3 is that the conclusions reflect what Mr. Rankin believes (and he is entitled to those beliefs). Would he remain liberal enough in his search for a knowledge to allow others the same?
